Henry Liiv in 1974. ⢠In April 1974 IMS began making Thick Film products in a small rented space. ⢠In 1977 IMSâ initial facility was built on one acre of land in rural Portsmouth, Rhode Island. ⢠Since then IMS has significantly expanded operations at their Headquarters in Portsmouth. ⢠On April 9, 2014 IMS became 40 years old and we continue to move forward in the 21st century as a Premier Supplier of our Thick Film and other passive products. ⢠We have the potential for more expansion on our existing property as well as possible abutting property that could be acquired if needed. Throughout its history IMS has received numerous awards for outstanding quality, service and attention to detail.
