Scienscope was founded in 1995 to meet the growing need for reliable general purpose optical and video inspection solutions for the electronics and PCB industries. We began with basic stereo zoom microscopes used for SMT inspection and rework of circuit boards and electromechanical assemblies with a commitment to quality, value, and support. Scienscope has evolved to become a complete inspection solution provider offering microscopes, measurement systems, machine vision, and x-ray. Our customer requirements lead to the evolution from basic stereo microscopes to trinocular microscopes and micro-video optics with CCTV camera systems for more comfortable viewing of applications. Later with the addition of image capture options (analog video capture cards and simple USB cameras) microscopes became valuable tools for documentation and communication of defects, process issues, and solutions. Scienscope has further realized the development of these advancements by adding image capture and digital viewing of applications to all the systems that we provide. Our latest camera technology is HD quality with integrated image capture to flash memory drives or USB 2.0 interface.
